Introduction to standard specifications for assets

Here you can find all high-level indications for creating the different assets types usually requested by Siteimprove marketers. We have collected information about sizes, how to place graphics, use of color, format, visual examples and approx. time needed for the creation of them. In general, the design should be characterized by simplicity and whitespace. Banners must not contain too many elements as the message must be easy and clear for the recipients.

E-books and Whitepapers

Size: A4, vertical layout

How to place graphics:

Title of the e-book needs to be on the cover.

On all pages, except for the cover, there should be a logomark in the lower left corner and a page number in the lower right corner.

There should always be the latest version of the tagline and the boiler plate at the end of the e-book (with the link always leading to the Global website of Siteimprove)

Color use: Use RGB

Paragraph: white

CTA: lagoon blue with Navy blue text

Size: A4 vertical (horizontal if requested)

How to place graphics:

There should always be a boiler plate in the end

Siteimprove logo on any pages in the lower right corner.

Siteimprove logo on the right for the last page, and on the left if there's a CTA (see examples).

Infographic

Size: One pager w:2480.

Height can vary depending of lenght of the content.

How to place graphics:

Siteimprove logo on the top right corner of the infographic.

Siteimprove logo on the bottom right of the infographic in the boilerplate.

Color use: Use RGB

Use of graphics, charts and icons to highlight relevant data.

White-lagoon blue on title.

White text on dark backgrounds and navy blue text on white background.

Divide sections with colours (example: section 1 - white background with navy blue text; section 2 - navy blue/deep ocean blue gradient with white text).

How to place graphics:

Small header with background render and a headline

Logo in the header if needed.

Card: white background with a slight shadow

Points: Coral red.

Paragraphs: navy blue.

How to place graphics:

Top left add indication of the content type with CTA (Webinar icon + date for events, "download the e-Book" for content pieces)

Main title aligned to the left

CTA: under the main title (if needed) - preferred without CTA as CTA is usually added in the copy of the post already

Size: Depends on media (LinkedIn, Facebook, Email, Zoom...)

Webinar icon: The webinar icon should always be used for webinar assets.

Use the ocean foam light-navy blue icon with "webinar" written in white on light backgrounds, use the ocean foam light-white icon with "webinar" written in navy blue on dark backgrounds.

How to place graphics:

Date: Next to the webinar icon on the top left of the image

Text content: under the date

CTA: “Sign up now” under the title only for signature banners and LinkedIn images if needed

Siteimprove logo: on the lower left corner.

Color use: Use RGB

Date: navy blue

Text content: navy blue, Lagoon blue

CTA: lagoon blue with navy blue text

Siteimprove logo: navy blue

Background: - "wave" design: light background on the left of the image where the copy is and 3D render/graphic on the right side of the wave. - possibility to use a light version of the 3D dark render as a background on the left side of the wave. It has to be placed at the exact same position of the 3D dark render version (see examples).

Umbraco specificities: Only a 3D render/graphic/illustration with no copy/CTA.

Siteimprove School

Size: Depends on media (Email, Zoom...)

Siteimprove School logo: The font of Siteimprove School is Gilroy Black.

"Siteimprove" should always be white and "School" lagoon light.

The Siteimprove School logo should always be used on a deep ocean blue->navy blue gradient background.

For localisation: change "School" with the word in the specific requested language. Example: "Siteimprove Skolen" for Danemark. The text "Siteimprove Skolen" needs to be horizontal center aligned with the book icon.

How to place graphics:

The background graphics (wave, circles, triangles...) have to be in 50% opacity and placed at a regular distance between each other.

The Siteimprove School Logo in the middle of the image if no other text.

Color use: Use RGB

Siteimprove School logo: white and lagoon light

Background: - Graphics (waves, circles, triangles...) in lagoon light or coral light and the light shadows in 20% opacity. Grouped together (graphics and shadows), they should be in 50% opacity. - Deep ocean blue->Navy blue gradient background.

Format: JPG for Pardot Email/Zoom banners and PNG transparent for Pardot Landing page banners.
